So, I’ve noticed that people have begun to notice that I’ve been a bit MIA recently. Here is what’s going on…
I had a really fantastic time at the 2010 Tranny Awards, but taking a week off of work is just way too much time away! Getting over the lethargy of getting back to work isn’t a problem but catching up on all the stuff that I usually do during the course of a week definitely is. As you may imagine, I keep pretty busy between my job, running the site, editing pictures, rendering video, blogging, and etc. Getting back into the swing of things can be difficult to do.
Adding to the mess are a couple of small health concerns that I ran into upon getting back. Nothing serious and don’t worry… I’m OK! Well, that’s kind of halfway true. I did something dreadful to my back so sitting up in a chair has been rather painful for the last couple of days… which makes editing and blogging rather painful. Things are slowly starting to get back to normal now and I think I’m going to get one of those inversion tables at the recommendation of a couple friends of mine.
Anyway… the rather large news in the life of Krissy is that my desktop computer has bitten the dust (again). Seems like I run into major computer issues once a year or so. I got back from the trip and was editing some pictures when I suddenly noticed this wisp of smoke coming from my computer. I opened things up and my video cards had literally melted into the motherboard at some places. This was kind of a new computer build for me so not sure how that happened but anyway… without my desktop, I’m basically trying to do things from either my MacMini or my laptop, both of which are pretty underpowered for photo editing and video editing… which has put my site behind a week in updates.
THE GOOD NEWS… is that I have gotten my desktop back together again and thank goodness… I back up my system frequently so I didn’t lose any important stuff. Anyway, this week’s updates will go out tomorrow evening… and it’ll be super-sized!
Well, I do want to thank all of you who noticed my absence and special thanks to those Members of Krissy4u – Naughty Asian Tgirl who have kept up their Memberships despite the one week of non-updates. Believe me, this doesn’t happen very often, but I guess these things do come up in life every so often. Anyway… thanks so much! I’ll be back in full action hopefully this week!
